A few years back I had a dream one night that stuck with me once I had awakened. I was standing at the corner of a building. To my left side was a small, dark alley. At the opposite end of the alley was a large glass window that enabled me to see people dining in an award winning restaurant, enjoying their gourmet food while engaging in lively conversation. (Now what self respecting award winning restaurant has a large plate glass window overlooking an alley? Only in a dream!) I knew that even if I wanted to go in and join them, I was not allowed to do so. I had more important business at hand. In front of me a highway stretched as far as the eye could see, before vanishing into a tall range of purple mountains. Telephone poles marched alongside the highway acting as sentinels to watch and mark my progress. Dark clouds gathered overhead in the distance and heat lightning was flashing across the vast plain. As I surveyed the scene before me a stranger materialized next to me and asked, “You fixing to head out on the electric highway?” All I could do was nod yes.
